Provenance: Many years after moving back to London from New York, Lee was reminded by Citibank of a checking account that had laid dormant. Ever the opportunist, he took this as a sign to complete his long-desired road trip, route 66. He flew to Los Angeles, purchased a 1965 powder-blue Ford Mustang and drove it back across the U.S. This image features long-term partner Loli in the Mojave desert. Having fallen in love with the car, he shipped the Mustang back to London. The car remains within a family collection to this day.
